There's something about New York City and gritty, black and white photography that go together like good cheese and a fine wine.. I don't what it is about NYC but I love it. It's like a constantly moving palette of images serving up art at every turn..
I recently attended the Photo Expo at The Javits Center in Manhattan and brought along my Olympus 35mm film camera and a few rolls of Kodak Tri-X black and white film to capture some essence of the city as I was touring through it's beautiful streets. All shot with a 50MM f/1.8 lens, I enjoyed trying to capture some people and scenes as they passed me by. A lovely day it was. Enjoy!
